More Information About Us & How We Approach Things
We’ve been offering non profit consumer credit counselling for well over 20 years. We often end up helping close to 95% of people who get in touch with us without ever having to charge them a penny. People only choose to pay for our help if they decide to go on our Debt Management Program. Lots of people see this program as a form of credit card consolidation because it consolidates each one of someone’s credit card payments into a single monthly payment that you can afford. The program either eliminates all credit card interest rates or drastically reduces them. Although this is a valuable program that eliminates debt, allows someone to re-establish their credit, protects their privacy, and gets their finances back in order as fast as possible, this is just one of a number of ways that we are able to help people.
We truly believe that the best debt consolidation or debt help is a solution that enables someone to get back on the right track as soon as possible while at the same time helping them accomplish their long term financial plans. Regrettably, the way we approach this is very different from the way some commission focused debt advisors, credit consultants, financial counselors, and credit advisors out there do things, but we firmly believe that when someone is having a difficult time financially, you need to carefully look into all options available to them and concentrate on what’s going to do the most to help them in the long-term. This is why we don’t pay any of our staff commission - only straight salaries. To hold our organization to the highest standards possible we have joined, been audited by, and are accountable to the National Foundation for Credit Counseling and Credit Counselling Canada. We’re also accountable to the Canada Revenue Agency, a volunteer board of directors and are the only organization in our industry to open up our books to an external auditor every year.
If you’d like to speak with one of our professionally trained Credit and Debt Counsellors, take a look at your financial situation, and see what options you have to get back on track, call us today at 1-888-527-8999. We’re here to help you.
